Hi, I’m Sarah

I provide therapy for individuals and families seeking depth, self-leadership, and meaningful change.

About

I believe meaningful change happens when we slow down, notice what’s happening beneath the surface, and take responsibility for our inner lives. Much of my work focuses on the layers of consciousness that shape how we think, feel, and respond. I specialize in individual therapy for people who want to move beyond old coping strategies and build more flexibility, self-trust, and steadiness.

Over time, therapy can become a place where what feels automatic becomes more conscious, and what feels overwhelming becomes more workable. My goal is to help you build the capacity to stay present with yourself, respond with more choice, and create change that holds up in real life.

If you are ready for this kind of work, I look forward to the possibility of working together!

My Approach

I offer a grounded, engaged style of therapy that is both reflective and practical. We focus on what is happening in real time, not just what happened in the past, so you can start responding to yourself and others with more choice.

Our work is collaborative and active. Together we identify the patterns that keep you stuck, strengthen emotional regulation, and build the capacity to tolerate discomfort without shutting down, numbing out, or overfunctioning.

The goal is not quick fixes or perfect coping. It is steadiness, self-trust, and meaningful change that shows up in daily life.

For Parents

I work with parents who want to support their child’s emotional growth, not just manage behavior.

Children often show distress through anxiety, reactivity, withdrawal, or risky behavior. Therapy helps them build emotional awareness, regulation, and a stronger sense of self.

This work is best for families who value emotional development, consistency, and an active role in therapy. It is an investment in a child’s ability to navigate stress, relationships, and life transitions with resilience and self trust.

FAQ

  • I do not accept insurance at this time. I’m a private-pay practice, which allows for more flexibility and privacy, without restrictions from insurance companies (like session limits or required diagnoses). Pending major insurance payers credentialing. Please stay tuned for updates.

  • Possibly! If you have out-of-network benefits, you may be able to get reimbursed for part of the session cost. I can provide a superbill upon request that you can submit to your insurance company.

  • My current rate is $130 per session. Payment is due at the time of service. I accept cash, Venmo, Apple Pay, most major credit cards.

  • Most clients start with weekly sessions. Some people shift to every other week once things feel more stable or goals are being met. We’ll decide together based on what you need and what supports your progress.

  • Therapy looks different for everyone, and the length depends on your goals, history, and what you’re hoping to change.

Some clients come for short-term support (around 6–12 sessions) to work through a specific issue. Others prefer longer-term therapy (several months or more), especially when working on deeper patterns, trauma, anxiety, or relationship concerns.

We’ll check in regularly about your progress and adjust the plan as needed.

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours notice. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours notice may be charged the full session fee.

  • Yes. I offer secure telehealth sessions for clients located in Idaho. Telehealth can be a great option if you prefer to meet from home, have a busy schedule, or live outside the immediate area.

  • The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and talk about what’s bringing you in. We’ll review relevant background, clarify goals, and make a plan for what you’d like therapy to help with.

  • The first step is to reach out through my calendar and schedule a consult. From there, we’ll schedule an intake appointment. I’ll send you paperwork to complete before we meet.
